| Training and development is an integral part of student life in GBS. We believe that for overall preparedness of student for the corporate world, classroom teaching is not enough. For this, a well thought of and well planned approach is undertaken for training the students.
Training is conducted in two ways: Inbound training: here the student is exposed to different types of training programme to hone his soft skills to shape up his personality. General awareness, socio-economic issues, communication & presentation skills, business etiquette, public speaking, group dynamics, etc are the main features of this training programme. Either internal faculty takes up this exercise or professional trainers are called for conducting the programme, as and when the need be. Outbound training: In a professional management programme, sometimes the classroom environment has some restrictions in terms of training the student for real – time experience. Keeping this limitation in mind, we at GBS inculcate outbound training for students in their curriculum. The students are taken into real business environments and their theoretical experiences are put into real time experiences and simulations. |
